Uniqush

Uniqush is free and open source software which provides a unified push service for server-side notification to apps on mobile devices. By running uniqush-push on your own server, you can send push notifications to any supported platform through one API. This story helps explain the basic idea.

The latest release is 2.9.0, which makes wildcard pushes fast on large databases and adds /stats, /health and a systemd unit — see the upgrade notes. 2.8.0 fixed APNs and FCM for both services' shut-down APIs and added UnifiedPush/Web Push support.

A standalone server program dedicated to push notifications, which you run yourself.
